Victorian Holiday House

Victorian Holiday House tours will start on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Please click the button below to TicketLeap for reservations.

Grundy Foundation Executive Director, Mr. Gene Williams and Grundy Museum Staff are proud to present A Victorian Holiday House at the Grundy Museum. Kick off your Holiday season with the Grundy Museum and be one of the first to see the Museum in all of its splendor. Our restored 1885 home will be decorated for the first time with exquisite Victorian Christmas displays. Our guest designer for this event, Mr. Jimmy Bason Gilpatrick owner of Bird of Paradise Flowers, Bristol Borough, PA, will assist the Museum staff creating lavish decorations for the first floor of the Museum. Timed ticketed tours will be posted soon. Museum docents will present details about new restorations, Grundy family history and Victorian holiday traditions that became popular in America during the 19th century.

We are offering small group tours, with each timed tour slot limited to 5 guests. Two tour options are available, a First Floor Tour or a combined First and Second Floor Tour. The First Floor Tour will be a 30 minute docent led tour for a cost of $25.00. The combined First and Second Floor Tour will be an hour docent led tour for $50.00 and includes a special Museum memento and a Holiday surprise!

The Victorian Holiday House at the Grundy Museum is the final event to raise money for the Museum through our “CanDOMore” campaign. So far campaign donors have raised funds for our Children’s Tour costumes and storage trunks, landscaping of the Museum South Lawn, archival exhibit cases and creating an orientation film. Ticket admission fees go towards the “CanDoMore” campaign for the Grundy Museum. Tickets are limited, social distancing guidelines will be maintained and masks are required. Staff of the Museum also invite you to "Like" and subscribe to the Grundy Museum YouTube channel
